繼昨天的法式吐司,讓吳先生在公司能抬頭挺胸之後
還剩4片厚片吐司,今天再來變一些新花樣吧
一樣,忙碌的Wendy,又要在20分鐘內
變出兩人份好好味早餐了,我只能說,虛榮心會害死人阿(笑…)
昨天誤打誤撞找到了一張米國正妹的食譜,好像挺簡單的
稍稍改編以後,就成了我們家20分鐘出早餐的常客好了
材料: (1人份/一片)
厚片吐司 -----------1片
起司
-----------1片
蛋
-----------1顆
法蘭克香腸 --------1/2根 (也可替換成火腿一片之類的,看想吃什麼就放什麼囉)
橄欖油
--------1/2小匙
義大利香草 --------1小搓 (就是小瓶裝灑在義大利面上那種啦)
做法:
1) 法蘭克香腸切小圓片,不需要油放入鍋中,小火煎到微焦,倒出備用
(5分鐘)
2) 用杯口,在麵包中間壓出圓形,放入鍋中以小火燜烤(蓋鍋蓋)
烤到2面的表面有一些硬硬的,但尚未變色的狀態
(3分鐘)

刷一些橄欖油在鍋底,也刷一些在圓形洞的側邊(以免蛋沾黏)
將蛋打進洞裡
(1分鐘)
4)
轉中火,煎約2分鐘左右,試推麵包沒有黏在鍋底以後
再刷一些油,接著用鍋鏟將麵包翻面
(3分鐘)
5)
翻面以後,煎3分鐘左右,一樣試推麵包沒有沾黏(這時的蛋5-6分熟)

改小火,將起司片放在比較不美觀的那一面上,貼上小圓香腸
蓋鍋蓋,再煎1-2分鐘(用燜的讓起司軟化)
(2分鐘)
7) 起鍋後,灑一些香草 ^^
Wendy一次做2片,一次使用兩個鍋子
兩份早餐,20分鐘,甜蜜上桌^^

Egg-in-a-hole Grilled Cheese

2 slices bread of choice (I used white; I think 7-grain would be
lovely.)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, divided 2 large eggs 1/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese Salt Pepper 3 slices prosciutto
Using a biscuit or cookie cutter, cut a 2-inch hole from the center of
both slices of bread. Melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a medium nonstick
skillet over medium-low heat. When it’s melted, add the two slices of bread.
Let the bread lightly toast for a minute, or until lightly golden brown, and
then flip the two slices over. Dab the remaining butter in the middle of the
bread circles. We want to ensure the egg doesn’t stick.
Crack the eggs into the holes and season with salt and pepper. If you’re
using prosciutto, chill with the salt. Just add a little.
Cover the pan for a minute, just until the egg whites are sorta set.
Next, add the grated cheese to one half and cover for another minute, or
until the cheese is practically melted.
Using a spatula, gently top the cheese slice with the egg slice. Cook
for one more minute, or until the cheese is melted.
